In every business I create or become involved in there must be a component that gives back, is socially responsible, or protects the environment. My projects support education, women’s rights, and preserve our planet.

AFRICAN EDUCATION PROGRAM

Empowering youth through Education. In Zambia education must be paid for to attend grades 8 – college. For every bag we sell through Be, $10 goes towards sponsoring an education for children in Zambia. For every 20 bags that are sold an entire year of education can be paid for, one meal a day for that year, and a school uniform for one child. We sponsor these children through our affiliate non profit, the African Education Program:

ESCUELA FUTURO VERDE

Centro Educativo International Bilingue – Bilingual International Education Center. Escuela Futuro Verde is an environmentally focused, progressive, and bilingual non-profit school in the Southern Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica. Through b.flow wellness apparel we donated 10% of all sales to support their Educational Resource and IB Accreditation, Scholarship Fund, and Capitol Campaign from 2012 – 2014.

NIGHTBLUE PERFORMING ARTS COMPANY

Kelsey is a Board Member of NightBlue Performing Arts Company. NightBlue NightBlue Logo (sm)is a successful, Jeff-award winning not-for-profit theatre company servicing the Chicago metropolitan area. Since bursting on the scene in 2007 with its production of Miss Saigon, NightBlue has proven to be an electric addition to Chicago’s off-Loop theatre landscape, producing over 30 shows in nine seasons, including Best Musical Jeff Award nominations for Avenue Q and Spamalot.
